Amani Figgs(American, b.1997) grew up in central Maryland and was relatively new to the city when she started college at The University of Memphis. She has attained a Bachelor of fine Arts degree with a concentration in photography and a minor in Art History. While attending the University of Memphis, she was in one solo show, Static, 2017,and two group shows, Grotesque, 2017, Alternative Processing, 2019. Amani lives and works in Memphis while photographing and creating her work.
